Orland Park police HQ named for former chief Tim McCarthy ’72

On Monday, October 23, the Orland Park (IL) Police Department dedicated their headquarters to former police chief Tim McCarthy.  Brother McCarthy spent 26 years leading the southwest suburban police force following a career with the Secret Service where he heroically saved the life of President Ronald Reagan during a 1981 assassination attempt in Washington, DC.
