Illinois Football: The Fighting Illini were coached by Bob Blackman in 1972. Lonnie Perrin played for the Fighting Illini in 1972 then later got drafted to the Denver Broncos in the 5th round of the 1976 NFL Draft.
Illinois Tuition: Students paid around $4,660 in tuition and fees per semester as a full-time student. I’ll bet that stings for you 2010s grads…
